Who am i really?
Am i this person, this artist, this earthly vessel you see on this photo?
Yes and no.
Let me explain this to you: i am part of what is called universal consciousness. We all are. Everything is. I am the part of this universal consciousness which experiences everything in a physical reality directly. I was born into this world where all the 'action' is.
So that's the 'yes' part of the answer.
The 'no' part:
This is the part which i choose to call 'The Higher Self'. It is the part of this universal consciousness which is beyond the physical, beyond time and space and beyond any form of separation/limitation. It is abundance in all aspects: whether it's love or wisdom or anything else, it is the most complete state of being.
So if this 'Higher Self' is so far beyond anything and so amazing, why go through all this trouble? Why separate yourself from it by being born into this physical world with all these limitations?
Hold on. We are NOT separated. Ever! The physical parts' conscious connection to it might be lost at birth, but The Higher Self stays connected to the physical part at all times.
A long time ago this experiment started on planet Earth, where you could (and still can) experience the sensation of separation in all aspects of life. To have an ego (or separate self as i call it). To feel what it's like to experience emotions like love (in a limited form), fear, anger, jealousy, lust and so on. To feel what it's like when death occurs in its many aspects. To find new potentials for growth on a personal and collective level. To ultimately transcend any form of limitation by merging the physical (separate self) and the non-physical (Higher Self), and become totally integrated beings on this planet.
This has never happened before. We have been 'up there', being one with all. We have been here, feeling separation for a long time. Now it's time to take the next step in evolution.......
The role of The Higher Self in my music (and the music i've made with my good friend Apollonius) has become increasingly important and essential as time moved on. It started with the creation of our first album called 'Resonating Earth'. This album (as well as all the albums that followed it so far) have been granted to us as potentials by our Higher Selves. Every album represented a potential which we first had to totally attune to, before we could even begin with creating the music. This involved stripping ourselves of many illusions and gear, amongst other things. The music ultimately provided us with various spiritual therapeutical tools.
And that is the core of our music: to go beyond the borders of music as sheer entertainment, and to introduce our part of music as a potential for spiritual healing.
I welcome all of you with a warm heart. You are loved, all the way!
